Best ever!
The Help>Slip>Franklins>, and really the whole second set if stellar! This was the original show that was given to me on cassette back in the day that turned me on to these guys. I only had the second set back then; thanks to archive.org and Charlie Miller, I now have the whole show. This is the GD at their best in front of a home audience. Jerry's tone is magical!

I am live in western ny and the franklin's was added to my syracuse ny show. It is one of the best franklin's I have ever heard.

Great Shows
I remember these shows as extremely HOT. The crowd was salavating as the boys just kept pulling out the rawest yet most synchronized versions of songs that bridge the mid-to mid-late stages--a particularly ripe time. Jerry had something to prove with these shows--seriously! He is on fire--shredding every possible chord on even the early songs--blistering from the start!!! And then there is Brent, who I think had found just the right mixture of everything on these....What do you do the day after a third set Dark Star? Listen and find out...
